About

Robin Sexton

Robin is a specialist in providing political action committee (PAC) management for both corporate and association clients through her company, Sexton PAC Consulting.  She began to develop her expertise in the PAC industry shortly after the passage of the Federal Election Commission Act while working at Corning Incorporated.  As the PAC and Grassroots Director, Robin was actively involved in the political community through her involvement with BIPAC, the Public Affairs Council, the US Chamber of Commerce, and Women in Government Relations.

Following her position at Corning, Robin created and maintains a successful consulting practice where she has worked directly with some of America’s most successful companies, including Honeywell, FMC Corporation, Duke Energy, and Quest Diagnostics.  Over the years, she has also provided consulting services to other PAC service providers including, Vocus, 720 Strategies, Political Action Committee Services, Aristotle, Stakeholder and Gnossos (now owned by Vocus).

Through her work with these organizations, Robin has shared her knowledge and expertise with many additional organizations, including NiSource, Exxon Mobil, Constellation Energy, Nuclear Energy Institute, Motion Picture Association of American, CSX, Pitney Bowes and National Right to Life to name a few.  She is well-regarded by FEC staff and has acted as a liaison between clients and their analyst or FEC auditors.

Using her experience, Robin developed an audit process for PACs that takes into account both the financial aspect of the PAC, as well as the FEC requirements and the processes related to them.  She works with organizations to provide documentation of their procedures as part of PAC succession planning.

Robin continues to build and maintain strong ties in the political action committee community.  A native Marylander, Robin graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in marketing.  She resides in Crofton, Maryland, with her family, and is active in her church and community.
